You & Me

Who are we to one another truly?
Never met before, never saw each others way, its a mystery

Then how I feel so close, how could this be?
It started with a "hello" and now you are in my vicinity

Your love of life, scoffs and way of happiness
For me it has brought out smiles, a new zeal,
                             an indefinable fulfill ness

Your laugh and smile fell tremendously through my heart
With much desire for your company I wish that we never part

Feeling I've found a bliss a friend
A special and rare friendship, hope it never ends

Someone is away, out of sight, but so thoughtfully close
Now I feel what has always been written in poetry and prose

When my heart is in need of repair and sorrows to do away
She is the one I want to talk to every day

From within my heart, I express the warmth and desire
the zeal in you, that spirit and the heart that I admire

My mind is your torch, my strength will keep us running through
On this road of friendship, the distance being erased, to be together
                                                   as friends just me and you.
