food for the mouth
materials for wants

books to read
knowledge to write
words to speak
questions to answer
teachers who disguised you
I own nothing
you have given me everything
respect as a man
empathy as a human
the friends besides me
a family in which I see your goodness
I wish nothing for me
I desire no more luxuries
I require no more coins
But I do pray for my family's good
I do wish the best for my friends
I do desire the joy and contentedness
for all others known and unknown
And for everything you will give me
be it the sorriest of sorrows
be it the happiest of happiness
I will gladly succumb to your will
your will has given me everything.
