God send me that soul, I have longed to be loved truly
send me that angel to take my heart, a heart so very lonely

Send me the one who will ask me not my caste and creed
but the one who will love me endlessly, her one good deed

Send me the one who will smile to make my grief and agony fade
the one who will reach the deepest in me, without much said

Send me whom I can feel for...live for...die for
day or night, dark or bright, I am the one she desires for

Send me the one who will take my pains and sorrows away
In our love and happiness we will always and forever sway

The one who will ask less and understand more
The desire for her all my life I have bore

Every dawn to dusk I miss her, like deserts miss the rain
Her absence is adding to my misery, my suffering, my pain

Without being loved I watch life go by, sitting in a dark corner
Every time I feel there is so much to give, I ask HIM will I ever have her.
