A Friend is someone who is with you through anything.
They are with you on good days and bad days too.

A Friend is someone who you trust with your life.
They would do anything for you, for your happiness they'll strive.

A Friend is someone who wont let anything come between.
They would always be there to talk it out with you, to tell you things
and listen to your so keen.

A Friend is someone who wont let anyone harm you.
They would give up there on life to save your life.
They would always be there for you when you needed them the most.

Tell me if I have acted any different?
I have always tried being such friend for you through thick and thin

In your bad times, I never left you
In your good times, I hope to be with you

I never cherished worldly rules, formalities or any hard lines
I have listened to you and talked to you all days, all nights

I always say that your laughter hums in my ears
that your words flash in front of my eyes
that your goodness resides in my heart today and in rest of the years

I plead again to you my friend, my one small request out of many
Please don't diminish our friendship by bringing in materials and money

Treat me like I treat you, the least I expect is your friendship
I know you will always be my friend, feel for me through my happiness and hardships

And I promise you one thing, doesn't matter if u believe me or not
My wishes, prayers, love, desire, and selfless care for you,
will always remain in my heart
