I am a man now
but I still want to be a blue boy of Five
I have grown a beard and a moustache,
but I still want to fight for that little piece of cake.
I am able to solve parametric equations,
but I still want to count with my fingers.
I know how to talk, carry myself and be courteous,
but I still want to my mischief.
I have many bosom buddies,
but I still do not want to share my lunch.
I have many shoulders for a sad day,
but I still want to cry out loud.
I have become a graduate now,
but I still want to be given dictation.
I can speed away with a car,
but I still want to play crash-boom-bang with it.
I can make my own bed ,
but I still want to wet it.
I am respected and do give respect,
but I still want to call others by funny names.
I work very hard for a living,
but I still want to play in the dirt.
I am a grown up now,
but I still need my childhood. . . . . . .desperately.
