The Nashville Order of the Scottish Knights of Saint Andrew intends to develop a Degree Team. Many ideas have been discussed; however, the two main thoughts are to begin developing these two teams:
1. KSA Ceremonial Degree Team - This team will be responsible for performing the initiation ceremony for new novitiates. This ceremony requires 11 Knights to present. There are speaking and non-speaking parts. The goal is to have at least two Knights who can perform each on the parts.
2. KSA Fellowcraft Degree Team - Currently, the Scottish Rite has degree teams who perform Entered Apprentice and Master Mason degrees for local lodges who are in need of assistance. It is the intent of the KSA to begin developing a degree team which can confer the Fellowcraft degree for local lodges. In the future, we may even develop a Scottish Regalia Uniform consisting of our St. Andrew Tartan and colors. We hope to develop this team so it can confer a degree in a manner that extremely impressive.
