The " K.Sakalis' Pistachio Business " is located in Astros Kynourias,
Arkadia/Peloponnese,Greece. Our farm has been planted since 1954 at
Paralion Astros. Just in 1980, Sakalis D. Konstantinos had the idea to
found a business which would take care of all "pistachios steps",
from gathering to baking and selling them. Since then and thanks to the
preference of the people at the gristly taste of our peanuts (type of Aegi-
nean) the business has been renewing its machinery with automatic te-
chnology and has been expanding its sales. From the summer of 1997,
Sakalis Al. Konstantinos (grandson) has undertaken the general manage-
ment of it combining his efficient marketing policy with his grandfather's
experience. In 1998 , the business was sponsored by " Leader II " , a fi-
nancial schedule credited by EEC. And it is still going on to become lar-
ger offering the best quality of pistachio at the cheapest prices, because
we are both producers and traders.
