The " K.Sakalis' Dried Nuts & Edible Olives Business " is located in
Astros Kynourias, Arkadia/Peloponnese, Greece. Our farm, at Paralion Astros, has
been planted with pistachio trees (Pistacia vera, type of Aegina) and olive trees
(type of Calamata) since 1954. Just in 1980, Konstantinos D. Sakalis had the idea
to found a business which would take care of all "pistachios steps", from cultivating,
harvesting, to baking and selling them.
Since then and thanks to the preference of the people at our gustatory
pistachios,
the business has been renewing its machinery with automatic technology
and has been expanding its sales. From the summer of 1997, Konstantinos Al.
Sakalis (grandson) has undertaken the general management of it combining his
efficient marketing policy with his grandfather's experience. In 1998, the business
was sponsored by " Leader II " , a financial schedule credited by EEC. Last years,
we have been formally developed in the market of finest edible olives (type of
Calamata), taking advantage of our over 50 years cultivating experience at our
own farm.
And we are still going on to become larger offering the premium quality
pistachios and edible olives at the cheapest prices, because
we are both producers and traders.
