Breastfeeding and Valtrex

I am a member of a pediatric dietitians newsgroup and just wanted to
share with you a post I made and the response to it a while back.

Valtrex, and it is A-ok!

Subject: [pedi-rd] Breastfeeding and Valtrex

I have had the question come up lately about women breastfeeding who
take Valtrex suppressively (daily) for herpes. How much is safe. What
are the recommendations. I honestly don't know. I would appreciate
some help in this area, I will summarize answers and post them.
Thanks in advance.
