| Growing up in a Christian household in a deeply religious country (for better or worse...) it was kind of inevitable I'd get involved with God. And through him (or her...) I've met some really great people and had some really fun times.... | |||||||||||||||||

| The coolest thing about being in a christian group was the chance to leave your parents behind and run wild in a big house in the country while someone else was supposed to look after you - I feel pretty certain that the houseparty experience is unique to religious organizations - where else can you leave all worries behind and run amok in a completely safe environment? Nowhere... I'm sure parents are only too glad to use it too as an excuse to offload their supercharged children on someone else for the week. Being a leader at a summer camp later in life was some sort of karma, as it just reminded me of how big a little brat I must have been - to all the leaders that we terrorized, I apologize. Sincerely.... | |||||||||||||||||

| To the right is Gregory. He is very strange. Beware. Bottom right is Kaz. She looks like a duck, right? Above is Belfast SOuth Crusaders at the Coleraine railway station, below is the 1996 Carrigart Summer Camp. The quality of the photo kind ofrules out being able to recognize anyone though... Anyway...Great days.... |
