The Hollow Man
****************
A shimmering tear,
Slides down his beautiful cheek.
The sight makes me sad,
So I try to speak.
He hushes me,
With a sad smile.
Will this be his last day?
Will this be his last mile?
Insane is his appearance,
Yet he is hollow inside.
I wish it was me,
In whom he'd confide.
He's a lone traveller,
All on his own.
Always moving on,
Always alone.
Today he leaves,
For his next destination,
Hoping that there,
Will be his soul's restoration.
I don't want him to go,
Him and his allusion.
He helps me find truth,
In all of my confusion.
He doesn't want pity,
He doesn't want sympathy,
All he wants,
Is to find his lady destiny.
