This cat/kitten has been purchased as a pet.Purchaser may/may not show this cat/kitten. Registration papers and/or pedigrees will be provided upon proof of spay/neuter.
To the best of Majestic Himalayans' knowledge, this cat/kitten is healthy and free of genetic problems. This guarantee does not apply to illness or injuries due to negligence on the part of the Purchaser, as determined by a veterinary examination.
In addition, Majestic Himalayans guarantees that this cat/kitten is presently free of disease and that this cat/kitten will be accepted back by Majestic Himalayans within three (3) days of delivery date if accompanied by a veterinary certificate that this cat/kitten has a health problem. Majestic Himalayans acknowledges it may be impossible to return the cat/kitten within three (3) days of delivery date, and will accept a dated veterinary certificate that the said cat/kitten has been deemed unhealthy in that time period.
This cat/kitten is guaranteed against congenital defects for one (1) year. Should the animal die within that time as a direct result of said defect, the cat/kitten will be replaced only if an appropriate autopsy is performed, by a licensed veterinarian and a certificate is provided as a proof of cause of death. A replacement will be made of comparable quality and value. No cash refunds.
Purchaser agrees to the following conditions:
1. This cat/kitten shall be kept as an indoor pet only, with the exception of being allowed in a completely enclosed outdoor "run". The Purchaser agrees to provide adequate indoor sanitary facilities. The Purchaser also agrees to keep this cat/kitten in good physical condition, free of disease and undue stress and harassment. In addition to the above condition, Purchaser also agrees that this cat/kitten will not be kept in a cage or confined to a small area for any given length of time.
2. The Purchaser agrees to keep this cat/kitten for as long as he/she lives, unless unforeseen circumstances arise. Should the Purchaser not be able to care for this cat/kitten, the Breeder must be notified first and be given first option to reclaim the cat/kitten at no charge. This cat/kitten may not be placed in another home without the written consent of the Breeder. In addition, under no circumstances can this cat/kitten be placed, re-sold or leased for the purpose of breeding.
3. Purchaser agrees to feed this cat/kitten a well balanced diet of only premium cat foods.
4. Under no circumstances will this cat/kitten be abandoned, sold, leased, or given to a pet store, research laboratory, animal shelter or similar facility.
5. The Purchaser is discouraged against having this cat/kitten declawed and understands that declawing is a mutilation and a cruelty that is likely to alter a cat's temperament and health.
6. Purchaser agrees to have this cat/kitten immunized annually and will not deny cat/kitten any needed veterinary attention.
7. The Purchaser agrees to keep regular contact with the Breeder (at least once per year) and notify them of any serious medical problems, especially if they are genetic in nature.
8. The Purchaser shall spay/neuter this cat/kitten after eight (8) months of age. Registration papers will not be provided until Breeder has seen proof of alter.
HEALTH GUARANTEE
Majestic Himalayans guarantees that this cat/kitten is in good health and comes from FeLV and FIV negative parents.
In order for this health guarantee to be valid, Purchaser must have this cat/kitten examined by a licensed/certified veterinarian within 72 hours of possesion of the said cat/kitten (not to include Sundays or holidays), to confirm cat/kitten's good health. Should a veterinarian find this cat/kitten in ill health, and feel that the illness was present at the time of sale, the Breeder will have the option to pay for any veterinary expenses relating to the specific problem, replace the cat/kitten with one of similar quality or have the cat/kitten returned for a full refund. In no case shall the Breeder's liability exceed the maximum cost of a Majestic Himalayans pet quality cat/kitten (maximum $400 Canadian). In addition, the Breeder must be informed of any such problem immediately and prior to any treatment (except in emergency situations) in order for this health guarantee to be in effect. NOTE: The Breeder reserves the right to have a second opinion of her choice.
Please note that during times of stress, such as going to a new home, cats can exhibit temporary signs of illness which may include: sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, diarrhea and/or constipation. This should disappear on its own once the kitten has adjusted to their new home. To help reduce the signs of stress, feed the cat/kitten identical food as the Breeder and offer fresh, clean water, and take reasonable measures to reduce stress. You can do this by introducing them slowly to the members of the household, and limiting the time they are with strangers, children and other animals.Please note that it is common for extreme Himalayans to tear regularly. Wiping eyes twice daily will keep the tear ducts clear and the coat underneath their eyes free of stains.
Majestic Himalayans strongly recommends that this cat/kitten NOT be vaccinated against FIP. Should this cat/kitten receive this vaccination, the Breeder will NOT be responsible for, or guarantee the health of the said cat/kitten.
