Xbr 500
This bike was awful and to give you an idea of how awful I got it for free from a guy who wanted it out of his garden where it was rotting.  I knew the bloke and knew that he had come off it 4 times and cracked the frame and the tank in the process.  I had originally painted it for him in a nice blue to silver fade running the whole length of the bike but after all the accidents and a problem with a later coat of lacquer reacting to the paint it needed a respray.
I stripped the thing apart and rebuilt it over the course of about 5 weeks - changed the headlight, gave it a bit of a rewire and slapped on an exhaust system that worked.
That was pretty much it other than slapping on black paint and putting the silver XBR500 logo on the cover plates to make it look a little nicer and then put it up for sale.  I hated it in a big way - it was ugly and had no character at all so I sold it for 700 which for a pay out of 50 wasn't too bad!
