After a shed load of welding and half a ton of smoothrite the seat well looked ok and the rot had been stopped in its tracks! |

Under the bonnet got the same treatment. She really needed rewiring but with no money that's a bit difficult and by the way that's now a Marina 1300 lump sitting in there. |

I managed to get my hands on a steel bonnet. This is it after it's been debadged and has a rough coat of primer. |

The front end is getting there, the wings are on and the bonnet is looking nice but that grill has to go. I've replaced the normal painted door surrounds with traveler stainless steel items - nice huh? |

After finishing off all the body work which isn't as easy as it sounds, I covered the whole car in primer. I went out and bought 8 litres of London taxi black, two pack paint too :o) |

Bri again fitting the door latches which have never and will never work right (not Bri's fault!) so they're going to be replaced in the rebuild. |
