A man randomly shifts a desk
in a nearly empty classroom.
He has no idea that
by his random action,
the desks,
both empty and occupied,
are now all
in perfect order.
I really should be
paying attention to the professor,
for whatever thermodynamics lesson hes giving
is bound to be more useful
than this mans ability
to shift entropy.
And yet my eyes are fixiated
on the desks,
now quiet, immobile,
in perfect rows.
