I purchased the car in 1995 from its second owner in San Hose California. It was in its original black paint and still had rego but was in need of some TLC. Everthing was there and just working. I drove it home from the Transport Depot when it arrived in Australia, flaking paint and all.To my suprise, it drove very good for an original car. The usual squeak and rattles, but hey, it was almost as old as my parents so give it a break.

The first to have life pushed into it was the 390ci engine. A major rebuild kit purchased from Kanter in New Jersey did the trick. The front end was completely replaced with new goodies also from Kanter. Next came the conversion. Now if the RTA would have decided on the Left Hand Drive Registration 7 Years ago, it could have saved me a bucket load of money......but thats another topic. EroL G Engineering in Croma NSW did a fantastic job, and its worth the money to get the job done right!!!

Sue Gobert and the guys at Production did a love job for me on the body and paint and those long flanks have come up a treat after being started from bare metal. Over the past 7 years, there is probably not a lot that hasn't either been reconditioned or had a touch up in one way or another. The old grey velvet interior has been replaced with tuck and roll black leather. A 7'' TFT Monitor, DVD, CD/Tuner, Amp etc has been descretly fitted for all the LOUD ROCK '' N '' ROLL music.
