Wood and Valley Elves:
Relatively small beings, these Elves usually excel as Trackers, Guides and Thieves... They are in constant contact with nature and in most cases respect it greatly... They are well known for their songs, legends and knowledge of their natural surroundings... They usually prefer to avoid contact with the outside world... They used to be numerous on the Continent but can now only be found in densely wooded areas... They master their preferred weapon the bow, with great dexterity and speed... They are fast, shrewd and elusive, which makes them good allies or deadly opponents on their own terms: in woodland areas and forests... Elven maps are reputed to be the most reliable throughout the Continent and are now very rare, fetching vast sums of money where available... Most Wood Elves can be found in the Forest of Hang, south of Celestia... It is almost impossible to tell the difference between the two types of Elves...
Wood Elves:
Wood Elves are a mystical Race that are said to have been derived from Condorians by the Thargians in order to satisfy all the pleasures of the senses... They are artistically gifted and usually of an attractive nature... Their numbers were controlled until the Great War before a demographic explosion that caused their numbers to soar..
Demeanour: Wood Elves keep very much to themselves although they do have contact with other races in trade outposts... They are wary at all times...
Appearance: Slim-build, agile and graceful. They have fine features and males have no facial hair... Hair and eye colour vary considerably...
Average Height and Weight: Male: 5'10" to 6'/145lbs to 160lbs; Female: 5'2" to 5'6"/105lbs to 120lbs...
Life Expectancy: 150-200 years...
Valley Elves
Valley Elves are slightly smaller than their Wood Elf cousins... They are a race which has branched out of their own accord without Thargian intervention... Valley Elves are rumoured to have been the first race to escape slavery and start the rebellion which in turn triggered the Great War... This probably explains why the Thargians encouraged the Kadrur Black Orcs to massacre them, and why they are so scared now...
Demeanour: Valley Elves, very much like their Wood Elf cousins, are solitary and extremely cautious individuals at the best of times...
Appearance: Slim build with ultra-fine features and Medium. Hair colours are mainly blonde, black and dark brown, with pale coloured eyes...
Average Height and Weight: Male: 5'10" to 6'/145lbs to 160lbs; Female: 5'2" to 5'6"/105lbs to 120lbs...
Life Expectancy: 160-220 years...
