There are two types of Druid on the Continent: the Protectors of Nature and the Druid Priest...
The first category comprises individuals who live in harmony with nature; all their life is offered to the protection and study of nature… Most Druids live alone in isolated areas… Botany, Alchemy, Astronomy etc… are the areas of interest explored by the Druid… There are also legends about Druids communicating with animals, even changing their own shape to that of an animal in order to evade danger or defend themselves…
Druids are solitary individuals who may choose to team up with a group of adventurers if it suits their purpose, but in most cases they would rather spend time alone or with other Druids…

Both types of Druids are always in search of higher levels of understanding of nature, whatever their purpose… They draw their power from nature and do not use the same magic as Sorcerers and Mages… Druids will never team up with a group of adventurers if more than two Spells Casters are already involved, as they are generally quite suspicious and do not wish to share any of their secret rituals or art…
