Okay, I'll start by saying - "How in the world can this story bear the same title as L. Frank Baum's classic book?" In this original silent film, Dorothy learns, on her 18th birthday, that she is the rightful queen of the land of Oz. In order to claim her throne, though, she must overthrow the evil ruler of the land. Yeah. It's not completely bad, though. It's actually kind of interesting, except for the fact that Larry Semon gives himself too much comedic time in the film, a lot of which drags the film down. NOTE: the narration and music on the DVD get very annoying.
Not rated.
