SATURDAY NIGHT
FEVER

1977 ***** 118 mins. (PG Version 113 mins.)

John Travolta burns up the floor in this classic disco film. His character, Tony Manero, is faced with the trials and tribulations of the real world which disrupt his normal fun-loving routine. The music is amazing, and this film is a complete winner. As for the PG Rated version, if you've never seen the original film, then the changes aren't that noticeable. If you've seen nothing but the original for many years, then stay away from the edited version. Followed-up with Staying Alive.
"Stayin' Alive" is Number 9 on AFI's 100 Years . . . 100 Songs.
Rated R for sexual content, nudity, violence, and strong language. PG rated version contains less of the same.
