I don't understand why some critics say what they do about this film. They say that it's over-the-top and unbelievable. I feel it's quite the contrary. An innocent, well-dressed young man gets mixed up with marijuana. Things get out of hand and out of control. I think the reason a lot of people today feel it's over-the-top is just that we're so used to seeing pot-heads as hoodlum-looking teenagers. Back in the old days, people didn't look as trashy as they do now. Besides, even if this film is a bit campy, it helps to serve its purpose--to show the horrors of mind-bending drugs. This is an important cult classic that should be seen by parents and children alike
