CRASH

1996 ** 100 mins. (R-Rated Version runs 92 mins.)

A link between sex and car crashes. Hmm, let's think about that for a moment. Violent collision of metal and rubber, a repugnant odor, broken legs, blood, bruises, pain--does that stimulate you? This film is simply a sexcapade that could have been something kind of cool. There is a trace, but only a trace, of a half-way decent story. However, David Cronenberg focused on the perverted sexual side of it and did not play up the rather odd, eerie plot. Perhaps the book is better?????
Rated NC-17 for graphic sex scenes, nudity, violence, and language.
