1965 **1/2 60 mins.
Since Andy Warhol couldn't officially get the rights to Anthony Burgess's novel A Clockwork Orange, he created his own off-the-wall interpretation of it. The result is a claustrophobic, poorly written, poorly photographed (the shot does not change until the film runs out), and poorly acted film that follows the basic plot outline of the source novel. The thing about this film, though, is that it's so bad, it's good. I found this film very entertaining, because of its bad qualities.
