RACE: Compared to last year's inaugural race, this year's race was full of wrecks. Bill Elliott was involved in another big wreck in which his car caught on fire for the second week in a row! Luckily, he was not injured this week, nor was anyone else. Mark Martin was dominate all day leading the most laps and having few challenges from others. Rusty Wallace was getting ready to challenge Martin when his engine blew and he ended up in 34th position losing his points lead.
