State of Trance....
"In Search Of Sunrise"
Heroine in CD Format -- I Can't Put This One Down!
Tiesto has changed quite a bit. This CD, to me, is a perfect portrayal of that change. I can't exactly put my finger on it, but these discs are so much smoother and warmer than his previous. Wow! There is so much of Tiesto's passion put into both of these discs. I feel it every time that they're played. I own almost all of Tiesto's CD's -- Never before have there been so many wonderful and delightful tracks assembled and mixed. The Latin American theme is Fantastic! It lifts you. It inspires you. Then, when you're ready for it, delivers the most magikal feeling to you! I finish with one disc then put in the other disc. I've rotated them like that since I got my curious little hands on the CDs.
Alright, so there isn't a ISOS mix on the CD. Who cares? The tracks don't need it! They speak for themselves and don't need Tiesto's special touch. In my opinion, this is a classic ISOS compilation. ISOS compilations are special. They're filled with much more heart and love for the music than your average schmuk-DJ's mix. This ISOS, though, does all that but in Tiesto's new bracing and more vibrant style. Energy? Don't worry about that. Oh yes, this ISOS delivers that (unlike ISOS 3 ::Shakes fist at it::). By the end of disc 2, I'm so satisfied.
No words can honestly describe these CDs. They're wonderful - Buy it!
Sick, Sick, and Sicker
Wow, anyone who can complain about 2 cd's or anything else about these mixes is just plain ignorant. I can't express how much music I have appreciated in my day, and Tiesto took it to another level with these discs. Outstanding breakdowns and melodies, along with flawless mixing and just enough of each tune to keep the masses entertained. What an amazing compilation of some SICK tracks. GO BUY THIS!
A musical journey
is the best thing to describe this mix. The seemless transition of different generes is extremely brilliant. However, you wont find any addictive trance anthems which was dissapointed coz i remember previous ISOS compilations having loads of those.
So I have to agree with a previous reviewer in that the album is best suited for background music, party, in car when you're not focusing much on the music because if you do so, the music of this album is gonna get repetitive and boring.
