DAY 21-22

WHATS ON: The next two class periods are devoted to creating a fil festival for the students to share their finished products of their film.  Each video will be screened by the class, and  there will be a Q and A with the creators of the film.  This is a way to let students see the work of their peers and to gain a better understanding of the novel thorugh their peers portrayal of the various scenes.

WHAT TO DO:  Each group will be asked to show their movie and then participate in a Q and A about the film.  The students viewing the movie will be asked to take notes on the projects, paying particular attention to the film techniques used, and the uniqueness of the scene portrayal.

HOMEWORK: Discuss the work that you saw in class today on the discussion board.  Include which movies interested you, and if and how the scenes portrayed in the films altered your view of the novel. Did the scenes bring new meaning to the segments of the book they are displaying?
