DAY 20
WHATS ON: Today the film groups will be meeting with the teacher in order to discuss the progress of the films. Here is the time for students to address any conerns or questions they have about their products. This meeting is also a means for the teacher to assess how effectively the groups are working towards the project. This is the final class period before the project is due, and is set to take place on a Friday so that the students have enough time to finish the projects.
WHAT TO DO: Students walk into the room and are asked to break into their film assignment groups. The groups are to come and report to the teacher on their progress one by one, while the others work on their projects. Students are allowed to use the classroom computers and are allowed to use cameras to film scenes if necessary, or the students are permitted to use the television to review scenes during this time. The groups will be asked how far along they are, how the project is going, and if they need help with anything. Groups are invited to email the teacher with any problems or concerns over the weekend. The entire class period will be spent this way.
