Hi! My name is printed at the top, and if you're in this web site you probably already know me. But I guess I'll write a little about myself anyway. I was born last century on June 27, 1982, and weighed 7lbs 6ozs. I have a scar on my chin from where my bike attacked me when I was in 5th grade and one on my hand from a horse accident when I was 14. I'm exactly 1 and 3/4 of an inch shorter than my ideal height, 5' 7", and when I was in 4th grade I weighed 67 lbs. My hair is a strange color, curls when I want it to be straight, and is straight when I want it to curl.
I'm now a senior at Valparaiso University, and spent one semester in Washington, DC, and two in Germany...
I'm stealing an idea from one of my friends, whereby he simply listed his interests. He did it alphabetically, I'm slightly more lazy, so I'll just write them as i think of them. :-)

learning languages, traveling, cooking, summer thunderstorms, blizzards, warm beaches, summer, reading, politics, laying out, running, biking, riding, friends, roses, playing piano, cats, writing, studying, pictures, all music but especially "When you say nothing at all," making scrapbooks, volleyball, walking along the river, sunsets, mountains, the Grand Canyon, the US, open stretches of land, sitting in front of a fire in winter, chocolate, Washington DC, Prague, Berlin, dark green, sleeping, singing, road trips, star-gazing, math, logic games, trivia, stupid jokes, movies, seeing old friends, making new friends, (ok, ok, i admit it) being an over-achiever, organizing

What I really can't stand:

being cold, labs (as in for physics or chem), learning vocab, peas, olives, and raw tomatoes
My family consists of 4 members. My brother, David, is 20 and goes to Iowa State University, my mom, Kathi, and my dad, Rod. Not much to say about us...
I've always had a broad circle of friends- my friends at school, those from the horse stable, those from church, and those from Moline that I knew either through my friends at the horse stable or church. Now I've got some in Germany and at Valpo, too.
Not much to say about my friends, either... I luv'm, though.
I also have an amazing fiance, Daniel, from Germany (see picture above). Ask me about him and I'll be happy to tell you the story of how we got together on the way to the airport as I was flying home from my year in Germany! ;-)
