A Little About Me
Well, here goes.  I am 21 year old philosophy student at Boston University.  I have been here at good old BU for 3 years, and I am graduating this year.  I plan on going to grad school, and so far I have been accepted to the Masters Program at the University of Chicago (go me), and I have yet to hear from the University of Toronto.  My main area of philosophical interest is Political Philosophy.  Some would say that Political Philosophy (not to be confused with the devil's work of Political Science) is dying in this Post Modern scientific era. I, however, disagree.  I guess if I had to pick "favorite philosophers", I would go with Plato, Machiavelli, Rousseau, and Nietzsche.  Of course, others could be listed, but then we would be here all day.
I am currently taking a course on Heidegger, a course that focuses on the Philosophy of Value, and I am working on a Thesis on Homer's
Odyssey which is focusing on the women of the Odyssey
Contrary to popular belief, I do have a life outside of the philosophy...."outside" isn't the right word...."along side" is more like it.  I enjoy movies, reading, listening to music, and just being with my friends.  There really isn't much else too me.  Well, actually there is, but this was supposed to be "a little about me", not my life story.
I am not from Boston originally.  My hometown is a suburb of Chicago called Crystal Lake.  Crystal Lake isn't the most exciting place in the world, but after having lived in the city for 2+ years, you start to appreciate what a place like CL has to offer.....peace, quiet, a home cooked meal, cheap coffee, and a lot less drunk idiots....well, maybe not less, but at least CL does a better job at keeping them hidden.
OK.  Guess that's about it.  Here are some pictures and links:

This is a picture of Beck in concert in Boston.  The reason that I put this up is that I am in the picture, along with my friends Stephen and Dave.  I tried to point us out at the top of the photo.  Dave is in the yellow shirt.  Stephen is in the red shirt.  I am in the White shirt (from left to right).  Anyway, is was a great show!
Sites that I like to visit (not related to philosophy):
(Look out, this site is for mature readers)
ESPN Baseball
The Drudge Report
You might think that I would have more sites that I visit, but I guess not.
