About me:
"English, specifically writing and composition, has been a passion of mine for many years.  I love to write;  the idea of bringing my thoughts to life is incredibly exciting!  After discovering this love and nurturing it through high school and much of college, I began to entertain ways that I could share that love with others.  I decided that teaching would be an adventurous and rewarding path to travel.  So, several years later, I am striving to realize and perfect that dream.
I graduated from Western Michigan University in December 2003.  It took me five and a half years to do this, mainly because of self-discovery and curiousity about my future, but I graduated with my secondary education degree with endorsements in English and speech.  I began substitute teaching as many new graduates do, but through a series of fortunate events, I found myself teaching part-time at
Kellogg Community College.  This led me to my second job as an English paraprofessional at The Learning Place within KCC.  Though I am still searching for a full-time staff position, either at the high school or junior college level, I love being able to hone my craft and teach almost daily."
This website has been designed for personal and professional use.  It is intended to meet many needs for teachers, students, friends and family.  I am responsible for its content and maintenance.  Please contact me with any questions.
