Trunks vs Optimus Prime

Round 3 Fight 2

Trunks enters the arena with a confident stride. "I'm close, I think I might have a chance at winning. If I do then maybe Vegeta will finally approve of me, I just hope I don't have to fight him." Trunks then begins to power up as he sees his opponent. I gaint robot walks onto the floor to face him. "I am Optimus Prime. I am leader of the Autobots. I must win this tournament so that I may forever end the terror caused by Megatron. I cannot let any obstical stand in my way. Not even your life." Trunks couldn't contain a smirk. "Well then Optimus, I guess I'll just have to push you to the best of my abilities." Just as Trunks said that Optimus pulled out his cannon and fired at Trunks. He saw the attack coming though and took flight. The young Saiyan dodged the attack easily enough. "Your gonna have to be better than that." Trunks boasted. "Oh i'm just getting

warmed up." Then Optimus lept up and tackled Trunks in mid-air. The massive force behind left a large crater where Trunks body landed. "I guess it's time to start playing serious." Trunks said as he unsheathed his sword. The blade glimmered in the sunlight. Then Trunks went flying towards Optimus. He lunged. Sparks flew where Trunks had succesfully hit his target. But he missed the location he was aiming for. Instead of decapitating

the robotic warrior he only managed to injure his leg. "That's nothing, that damage can be repaired easily enough. You've not beaten me yet." and then Optimus grabbed Trunks around his head and threw him against the wall of the arena with full force. Trunks stood up reeling with pain. "That's it, it's time for you to face my full FURY!!!!" And then Trunks let out a massive scream. He paused once for a brief moment when he had achieved the level of a Super Saiyan. "Oh i'm not done yet, I'm sure I could easily crush you like this, but there is no reason to take un-necessary risks." Then once more Trunks let out a scream. This time it was much more powerful than before. The very arena itself seemed to shake. Optimus looked in awe as there seemed to be no end to this transformation. Even the winds and the tides began to change as Trunks reached for his highest power. At the climax of this violent storm unleashed by the Saiyan was a bright flash of light. Then Trunks stood and revealed his true power. He had reached the level of an ascended Saiyan. "I think I can more than handle you now." Trunks gloated. And then with a speed that Optimus had not expected Trunks knocked him into the ground. Then as Optimus tried to stand up Trunks did a spin kick and knocked him into the air. As Optimus was trying to get himself stable again, Trunks flew up and blasted him into the ground. "I think your pretty much finished," Trunks said, "I don't want to waste too much power on a weakling like you." Then Trunks allowed his Saiyan pride to cloud his judgement. He powered down to his normal level. "But seriously it's time to finish you." Then Trunks began his Burning Attack. Optimus new that he would have to act quickly. He then saw his cannon laying on the ground. He quickly picked it up and took aim. He fired and with a massive boom he realized he had hit his target. He looked and saw that there was a smoking bloody crater where Trunks face used to be. Trunks lifeless body fell to the ground. Then Optimus walked off to begin his repairs, and to prepare for his next fight. "I will find you Megatron, I will find you and destroy your very being."
