Keith Richards was a good friend and ally of Kronos Recker on the human colony of Terra Prime.  Since the two of them were five, they were inseparable.  When he was 19, Keith joined a group of rebels, called Echelon V, and enticed Kronos to join.  After the mission to kill the Venomian delegate, which ended up leaving only he, Cassandra Tyrell, and Kronos the only surviving members, he could do nothing but watch as Kronos was exiled, the only surviving member who actually took part in the mission.  Keith Richards died when the Venomian fleet destroyed the Terra Prime colony, in swift response to the murder of their ambassador.
