| BUYOUTS AND OPTIONS |
| By the end of the month you should decide whether you are picking up your players options. If not, at the end of the year they become an unrestricted free agent and you lose their rights. The buyout money will be taken away at the end of the year. To check for buyoust and options go to the salaries link on the home page and look for you players. |
| EXPANSION PLAYERS If the player you have has an option, but its a player you were going to expose in the expansion draft then declare them as expansion and you dont have to worry about it. BUT if you declare them as expansion they must stay with your franchise and be expoed in the expansion draft. |
| KEEPING TRACK When you make your decisions email them and put them on a page on your site. Also list any upcoming free agents you have. |
| TRADING OF PLAYERS If you decide to buyout a players contract you can not trade them. They will become a free agent at the end of the year If you do pick up someones option they can be traded but when they are traded their new salary takes effect immediatetly. |
| If we recieve no notification we will assume you are buying every contract out. So notify us as soon as possible. |
