6th Grade Math Curriculum
          In 6th grade, we use the Scott Foresman math series.  Everything we do is aligned to the Pennsylvania State Standards and Assessment Anchors.  The following concepts are taught in sixth grade:

Chapter 1:  Numbers, Expressions, and Equations

Chapter 2:  Decimals

Chapter 3:  Number Theory and Fraction Concepts

Chapter 4:  Adding and Subtracting Fractions

Chapter 5:  Multiplying and Dividing Fractions

Chapter 6:  Ratio, Rates, and Proportion

Chapter 7:  Percent

Chapter 8:  Algebra:  Integers and Rational Numbers

Chapter 9:  Geometry

Chapter 10:  Measurement

Chapter 11:  Data, Graphs, and Probability

Chapter 12:  Algebra:  Inequalities, Equations, and Graphs
