A. You should listen because every week I play the best and newest loud rock from all over. I play local music and small undescovered bands. I also play the bands and music not heard on the other commercials station in Lincoln. Commercial rock in Lincoln kinda sucks. But I'm trying my best to change that.
Q. When is Heresy?
A. Every Tuesday night from 9 to 11 PM on 90.3 KRNU. KRNU is the small, non-commercial station located in Anderson Hall on the campus of UNL.
Q. What bands should I expect to hear on Heresy?
A. Almost anything that is hard rock. Anything from Ill Nino to Pantera to Mudvayne to Gorerotted to Martyr AD to Unearth to Atreyu nationally to Hollowed to Smilin Lair to Dirtfedd to Cynge locally.
Q. What music will you not be playing on Heresy?
A. Easy question...Linkin Park, limpbizkit, Britney Spears and anything else that sucks and isn't heavy.
Q. Why are you the host?
A. Cuz I am and because Brad liked the way I could handle Heresy and because I love metal and keep up with up-to-date info on bands and charts.
Q. Why are you so cool?
A. But I'm not cool, but thanks for thinking so.
Q. When will the contests start?
A. Whenever I feel like it, thats why you have to listen every night. And whenever bands give me stuff to give away. I know everyone is poor and items cost money but anything will be appreciated greatly. If you win something you must come by Anderson Hall to pick it up THAT NIGHT or else it goes back into the stash to be given away later.
Q. What have you given out so far?
A. Well, I have given away a Hollowed shirt, Venaculas signed poster and Mushroomhead's XIII album. I have more stuff to give away like signed posters and CD's from the Heresy stash.
Q. Whats next on your Heresy to-do list?
A. ***Concert tickets. I'm trying very hard to get free concert tickets to concerts, cuz I know everyone loves FREE concert tickets. If any local or national bands want to hook me up with some tickets somehow, I'm sure the listeners will love it.
***I am also trying to keep this page updated a lot and expanding our listening audience. I have advertising posters and such on the front page for you to print out and hang up so people know to listen.
Q. Is it true that you are the second rock station in the Lincoln market?
A. Sadly, but yes. When Heresy is on the air, it is the second rock station in the Lincoln market. The Blaze has a pretty good grip on Lincoln. But I'm out to chip away at that, one Tuesday at a time. Listen to my show and boycott the big commercial boys!!
Q. Why did you pick this camo for the background when every other page is black with some freaky wave in it?
A. Well this camo is cool cuz Dimebag Darrell from DamagePlan wears camo and is my hero. This page is for him, I guess....
