KRITTER KAMP

HISTORY

The Pennsylvania Wildlife Center and KRITTER KAMP care for approximately 1,500 orphaned, injured, and/or sick wildlife patients each year. Of these patients, the majority are baby animals that have been injured or brought in as orphans. Many mothers feed their babies from dusk to dawn (ie. bunnies, fawns), so if the babies are found alone during daylight, they are often assumed to be abandoned. This is not necessarily so! The following pages contain guidelines to help you, if you discover a wildlife baby.
