| Today was the day you went away, Today last year you couldn't stay. A year later here i am, Standing strong upon this land. A year ago you said goodbye, Today i reminisce and cry. I may not feel the touch of your hand, But in my heart your love will stand. God took you away for a special reason, The reason i will never know. That still doesn't change the fact that It was hard to let you go. If i could see you one more time, Lets the heavens open up and shine, I'd give you a kiss and a hug to treasure, And let you know i'll love you forever. I love you Avo and always will, I'm glad you gave me memories to help me through!!! |
