PROJECT PROFILE:
We are going to be studying about the cultures and traditions of Mexico.  This will include the habitants, the celebrations, and the  beliefs of the Mexican people.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
Upon completion of this project, the students will be able to :
1)  Discuss the Mexican holiday, Cinco de Mayo, as well as, it's meaning.

2)  Relate the Battle of Puebla and the date on which it occurred.

3)  What the celebration includes: mariachi bands, ferris wheels, fireworks, and dancing.

4)  The different foods and drinks that they have.

STATE STANDARDS AND BENCHMARKS:
Florida Sunshine State Standards:
Social Studies:  SS.A.1.1; SS.A.2.1,3; SS.A.3.1,2,3; SS.A.4.1,2

CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT:
- Develope a rubric to grade the students on their class performance.

- One computer in the classroom has internet access.

- Computer lab availability (must schedule a time)
