SEALS have many weapons to choose from as you can see. SEALS choose their weapon depending on the mission and the SEAL. If a SEAL is a good shot then he would probably want a M14 with a scope. If he can handle the power of the M60 then that's what he'll choose. SEALS are trained to use all weapons below and more

This is like the Navy's version of the MP5. This submachine gun is lightwieght and a favorite to the SEALS.This gun has semi- and fully automatic modes. The manufacturer is Heckler and Koch. The gun wieght is about 5.5 pounds and can release 800 rounds a minute.
This is the SIG P226 9mm semi-automatic pistol. Navy SEAL Teams started using the SIG P226 in the 1980s. On the navy's version of this pistol there is an anchor engraved on the slide. The first navy version was sold for $25,000 on a radio show.
This is the M4A1. Weighing only 5.56 pounds and about 30 inches long this is the lighter and smaller version of the M16 . This weapon is easily modified and is highly accurate. 700-950 rounds fired per minute.
This is the Remington Model 870. It is a U.S.-made pump-action shotgun. Up to 8 rounds fit into the tubular magazine under the barrel. And wieghts about 6.6 pounds.
This assualt rifle known as the AK-47 is not in the SEAL weapon inventory but is familiarized by SEALS because it's used all over the world. This gun has been around since 1947. With over 100 million built more AK-47 rifles have been produced than any other assault rifle; production continues to this day. This weapon fires 600 rounds a minute.
This is the  SR-25 semi-automatic sniper rifle. There is a Navy version and like the other Navy versions they are designed for the requirments of a SEAL. This is recognized as the most accurate semi-automatic rifle.
This is the M60E3 version of the M60. It was released in 1986. This version is lightwieght and was made to reduce the load of the gunner. The SEALS version is very much like this with a different barrel.
This is a portable one-shot anti-tank weapon called AT4. It is easily carried and can do some major damage to an armoured vehicle. After shot launcher is discarded.
