There are eight confirmed SEAL teams at the time. Although teams can work anywhere they are trained to operate in a specific envoirment.Teams memebers will really spend time with their team and get to know eachother. Escpecially during training when many insturctors see the SEALS more then their families do. There are eight platoons in each team. In a platoon there are fourteen enlisted men and two officers. They will often brake into two squads of eight SEAL operators. For being in the team the SEALS will recieve extra pay: $375/month dive pay, $300/month SDV pay, $225/month HALO (jump) pay, $110/month special duty assignment pay and various amounts per month for second-language proficiency. |

This is a picture of a SEAL team breaching a beach. SEALS are some of the hardest workers. They can preform well as individuals, but they have to be team players to earn the SEAL trident. You can tell a SEAL platoon because they all look different but are doing the same thing. This is beacause SEALS choose how they want their gear. As long as they can get to the ammo and bandages fast and meets the requirments the officers are happy. |
