The third book in the Harry Potter series is Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. During the summer before going back to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Harry's Aunt Marge comes to visit
the Dursley's, whom Harry lives with. She is particulary obsessed with making Harry miserable, and when she finally surpasses his patience limit, Harry unwittingly performs magic and is forced to flee at
once. He rides the Knight bus to Diagon Alley, one of the few remaining wizard-only locations. There he stays for the remainder of the summer and meets up with his friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger.
But even with all this newfound freedom Harry has away from the Dursleys, something is wrong. A alleged mass murderer named Sirius Black is on the loose and rumor has it that he is after Harry. When Harry
reaches Hogwarts, he discovers a new kind of creature that he cannot even be around without passing out, a souless, merciless Dark creature dubbed a Dementor. After a brief meeting with one on the Hogwarts
Express, Harry is more than certain that if he ever saw one again it would be too soon, but too soon it comes. A whole crowd of dementors arrived at a Quidditch match, poised to suck the soul of anyone they
crossed; that was what they did. They sucked the souls from people's bodies and the person would be left as an empty, hollow shell of a human being. It was the fate that awaited Sirius Black. Soon a horror
that was terrible and paralyzing swept through the school; Ron Weasley had spotted Sirius. With a knife. Over his bed. And then he fled. No one could figure out how he was getting in until one night, Harry
and his friends walked down to Hagrid's house, Keeper of the Keys and Care of Magical Creatures teacher. A big black dog, the omen of death, appeared with a cat, and they dragged and lured Harry, Hermione,
Ron down into a secret passage. Here Harry learned the horrific past of Sirius Black and Harry's own father, James Potter. Harry learns he has to help Sirius clear his name, but at the same time fight a force
of evil only the most advanced wizards can sheild. Harry may have to learn more about himself than ever before...
