I want to be unique. I want to stand out. I don't want to be a billboard image with a list of hobbies attached.
However, I imagine that's how it's going to turn out, anyway. This is my fifth attempt at a personal site, and my fifth bio as well; they consist pretty much of a left-aligned picture of me and a name, an age, and some hobbies in text hugging the side. The best way to learn about me is to become me, although even that doesn't always work. Seeing as that's not really an option, though, I've compiled some randomnosity that will hopefully give you some depiction of me.
My name is Kristin and I'm 14, a freshman at Centreville High School. Yeah, I'm like most kids in that I hate school....gradewise, I do okay, it's the people I hate. Not all of them. Some of them are great. The vast majority, though, are so hung up on their Louis Vattions and Converses that they forget the basic courtesies....you know, like smiling. Only three-and-a-half more years until I'm out and off to college, on my own to pursue whatever my whims fancy. Art and music have always and will continue to hold great interest for me. Art in all forms....its power to create, which I won't deny that I really, really like. :) And music is also the power to create, it just sounds prettier, is all. I probably spend too much time with both....then again, you only live once....and when you're dead, no one will remember how you never missed an algebra assignment.
Art has its tolls. I'm one of those easily-depressed people who always has something on their mind that somewhat paralyzes them from the rest of their life. I'm rather reserved, though, so hardly anyone knows the full extent of this. They just think I'm lazy. ;)
All that being said, you can now move on to the rest of the site equipped with some kind of understanding of the person behind this mess.
