This is my message board that basically keeps track of what's important to me. And if you love The Sims and everything I love, it's about what's important to you, too.
SIMS UPDATES
~The best money cheat is "rosebud;:", then hold down the enter key.
~OK, the last expansion pack came out awhile ago. Getting a little old now, so I found a new way to spice it up; a picture story with the photo albums!(Each "family" has one) So I'm working on a Harry Potter story right now. It has 3 parts, so I'll keep ya posted when I get it up on the Sims site! (Of course, you could always go there yourself on my cool link! *hint hint*)
~The "Harry Potter" story line didn't work quite as well as I expected, so if I ever actually DO get it online, it will be awhile. So if you were looking foward to it, sorry. I'll try to get it up ASAP. Thanx!
~The best site for Sims objects is "The Sims Resource". Unfortunately, they recently switched over to being a pay site, but there is still an area of free items for nonmembers that is updated every three days.
~Every once in awhile, you have a child with a messed up head. It looks upside-down and evil. Don't worry, it's not your computer. It's called a demon child, and it happens randomly. The good thing is, while, the little face at the bottom of the screen will stay like that, the face on the actual child is normal and you can change the clothes if it is wearing biker clothes(don't ask, it happened to me and i panicked).
MY UPDATES
~Well, Valentine's Day is over, and I don't know about you, but I'm glad. Sure, it's great for the people who get flowers and candy and balloons and all that other stuff the holiday is famous for, but most of us aren't them. Frankly, I think that only the people on the commercials get all that stuff, but don't quote me. Time to start looking foward to Easter. Before you know it, it will be Ash Wednesday, Lent, Good Friday, and Easter, in that order, before we know it, and I know that a lot of us won't be ready until it hits us in the face. When Spring Break comes, though, we'll all realize that "Oh my gosh! It's here!" I don't know. That's going to be my scenario down to the last word.
~This is a cool trick I learned in art. To make a cool sign with a work of art inside the letters, all you have to do is own Microsoft Word(or probably any other word processor, but the method might be different) and have access to the internet. First go to www.allposters.com. Then pick any poster or art print that you like and right click on it. Click "Save Picture As" and name it (your title here).jpg. Then open Microsoft Word and make the page a landscape format. Create a wordart and type anything you want to, change the font size to 96, and change the font style to whatever you want. Click "OK". Then right click on your wordart and click "Format WordArt". Where the color settings are, click on the choice arrow and go to the bottom where it says "Fill Effects". Click on the "Picture" tab and then go to "Select Picture" and find your picture that you saved. Click "Insert", "OK", and "OK", and your picture is inside the letters! Pretty cool, huh? (*note* It sounds more complicated then it is. You just have to push the right buttons.) Enjoy!
If you want to make your own web page and don't know how, you can start out at www.geocities.com. It's great for beginners, like me. |
