Freshman Year To-Do List
I know summer has just begun, but I've been thinking a bit lately about what I want to accomplish next year. There's no better time to implement drastic change than over the summer. Some of them are academic, but most of them are personal challenges I'll try to hold myself to, even if it does make several people hate me in the process.
- Make honor roll.
- Get an "A" in Algebra at least one quarter.
- Wear something a little out of the ordinary one day.
- Make a close friend.
- Make a worst enemy.
- Get told off for talking too much/too loudly.
- Say my name right on the first try.
- Dye my hair a different color, preferably one not found in nature. (Although this one should be met in a couple of days...)
- Shout in the halls.
- Offend someone and NOT feel like crap afterwards.
- Graffiti something.
- Be known as something other than "Shy and smart", "Never annoying", "That girl who sits in the back of the room and gets good grades for looking attentive", etc.
- Get different colored rubber bands for each bracket on my braces.
- Have a decent school picture.
- Enjoy some form of exercise other than dance. (That is to say, in addition to dance.)
- Curse out loud.
- Wear a different kind of shoes than sneakers.
- Get a spike bracelet/chain/something metal.
- Dye my eyelashes.
- Enjoy life to its absolute fullest and not pay a horrendous price for it afterwards!!!
Hmmm...we'll see how many of those actually come true. Some of them I can see happening, some of them are just wishful thinking. Like all of the ones about being loud and obnoxious. I don't think I'll EVER be anything but shy, quiet, timid, and smart-looking. I mean, isn't it assumed that all quiet people are smart? (Come on, you didn't think we didn't pick that up, did you? All that time we keep our mouths shut is spent listening to you listening to the sound of your voice...hehe...) Woo. Sorry. I go off on tangents every time I mention my shyer nature. EH. Well, that's my list.
