Spencer Jacobs
Born in Albany, New York, Spencer David Jacobs moved to Twilight after marrying Audrey Morgan, a native of Twilight. He completed the police academy in Albany and took a job with the Twilight Police Department. Within five years, he made detective and stayed in that position for nine years. In 2000, Spencer took a year off from work while his wife battled breast cancer. She died in December of that year. Following her death, Spencer turned to Audrey's best friend, Rachel Howard, for comfort and embarked on a brief and ill-advised affair with her. After ending the affair, Spencer turned to his work and ran for Chief of Police, winning handily thanks to Audrey's connections in the community. Now a confirmed bachelor, Spencer spends his free time fixing up the house he and Audrey bought right after their wedding. The death of Rachel Howard has thrown Spencer into overdrive and made his investigation very personal. Despite the FBI's interference, he believes he is the only one who can solve the murder and bring Rachel's killer to justice. |
