Course Descriptions

This course is beneficial to all levels of management and those
progressing upwards to a management role. It assists those individuals
needing
to write clearly and to insure their message is understood.
The participants will refine their writing skills to communicate
more
effectively.
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
- Develop an understanding of what is effective written
communications
- Practice writing points to be conveyed
- Prepare business letters, reports, e-mails and presentations
Training Courses:
This course helps participants feel more at ease standing and speaking,
or presenting, before of any size group. It is also beneficial in
everyday situations where the individual needs to unexpectedly speak.
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
- Practice sessions will be given for delivering
a prepared speech and handling questions, and presenting
in a meeting environment.
- The integration of PowerPoint, Word, and Excel will be
explained to give a more powerful presentation.
- Constructive feedback is critical to the growth of individuals.
This course is designed for aviation professionals that lead teams,
work with different levels of people and need to communicate with
different personalities in a variety of situations. Communication
with others is critical when exchanging information or delegating,
but is also vital when relating a problem or bad experience. Do you
do it effectively?
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
- Determine which personality type you are and how to interact
with others
- Tactics to communicate with peers, with colleagues,
with customers
- How different styles act and react to situations and under
pressure
- We will also discuss how corporate pilot personalities
rated themselves [based on my ERAU graduate
research paper, 2003]
