Click the link above if you want some history of this old and beautiful hotel. Or you can just come here for the wedding and have Robin give you a tour of the place. The hotel is 4 stories tall and has much of the original decor in all of the rooms. There are some rooms that have been redone for various movies that have been shot at the hotel and some have a 70's flair to them. Be sure to get Robin to tell you a few ghost stories while you are on the tour. The ghosts are very active there and are pretty polite when they aren't being a tad bit mischievious. They like to hang out in the basement and the bathrooms. They even take showers and flush the toilets and slam down the lid! The Saddle and Spur bar will make sure you never get thirsty (say hi Shannon and John the bartenders.. they are cool). The El Conquistador Dining Room is great! The waiters are all nice and pretty funny. The food is great! Anything you get there is good! Lettie the main cook is goddess in the kitchen. |
