| Reincarnation |
| Reincarnation is the belief that we've all lived before and will continue to have many lives after this one. Some people believe we are only reincarnated as the same creature. People are only reincarnated as people, animals only live again as animals. I believe that we are reincarnated as all creatures and animals to help us learn all the lessons that we need. We are also reincarnated as different sexes, never just male or female. In each lifetime we are to learn a lesson. If we don't learn it, we will keep living a similar life until we do learn that lesson. There are so many lessons we must learn that we have to live as different creatures and see the world from different views to truly learn all there is to know. What happens after we have aquired all the knowledge and no longer need to live another life? Each person has a different view on this. I believe that once we have achieved that level of enlightment we become something like angels, watching over people and helping them along their way. We exist as spirits and are forever dedicated to the God and Goddess. Most Pagans believe in reincarnation, but the belief is not limited to Paganism. Many religions have some kind of reincarnation in their beliefs. Not everyone agrees on how reincarnation works, but it is a fundamental belief for millions of people. |
