  • Have students use the sample budget to answer the questions in the sample budget activity.
  • Ask the students to list the reasons why keeping a budget is important. Write their responses on the board.

  •  Assessment is based on the student activities and completion of an activity in which students create a hypothetical budget to help them achieve a savings goal.
