Have you ever heard that advice that says you shouldn't make more than one major change in your life within one year's time? Well, we pretty much tossed that advice out the window in 2003! Let's see...I had a baby, quit my job with Norris, Beggs & Simpson, Dave left his job at Key Bank for a new job, and we moved to a new town in a different state all within four little months! Patrick was really our inspiration. We wanted our wonderful son to have a full time mommy, so we came to Walla Walla out in the midle of nowhere where the cost of living isn't so high, and Dave has a wonderful job with Banner Bank. Life has changed a lot for us over the past few months, but we are enjoying it immensely. People ask us what brought us to Walla Walla, and I always say that Patrick was our inspiration, and Banner Bank made it happen; but truthfully, we came to Walla Walla in July of 2002 on a wine trip. We fell in love with the town, but never felt motivated to make such a radical change until we had our son. We love it here. We have a nice group of friends, live in a town where we can't go anywhere without seeing anyone we know, and we think the values of this town reflect what we'd like our son to grow up around. Come visit us at our 100 year old home if you're ever in the area. We'd love to have you stay with us!
